Stronger gusts are possible in the higher elevations of the north Georgia mountains. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Georgia. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, northeast, and southeast Georgia, including the following counties, in central Georgia, Baldwin, Bibb, Bleckley, Dodge, Houston, Jasper, Jones, Laurens, Montgomery, Pulaski, Putnam, Telfair, Twiggs, Wheeler, Wilcox and Wilkinson. In east central Georgia, Emanuel, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Jefferson, Johnson, Taliaferro, Treutlen, Warren, Washington and Wilkes. In north central Georgia, Barrow, Gwinnett, Hall, Lumpkin, Morgan, Newton, Rockdale, Union and Walton. In northeast Georgia, Banks, Clarke, Jackson, Madison, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Towns and White. In southeast Georgia, Toombs. * WHEN...Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Post Tropical Cyclone Isaias will continue to bring bands of moderate to heavy rainfall to the area through Saturday night. Further bands of heavy rainfall remain possible for eastern Georgia this afternoon. Expected rainfall totals remains at a general 1 to 4 inches with a localized swatch of up to 8 inches possible by event end. * WHAT...For the High Wind Warning at elevations above 3500 feet, southeast winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. For the Wind Advisory in effect below 3500 feet, southeast winds 5 to 20 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * WHERE...Most of the mountains of western North Carolina, from Graham and Macon counties northeast to Mitchell County. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines especially in higher elevations. Widespread power outages are expected in higher elevations. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects, and may cause a few tree limbs to fall and cause isolated power outages in lower elevations.
