Located in the Chattahoochee National Forest, this 22-site developed campground sits in an area rich with hiking opportunities and natural beauty. The campground is broken into three sections along Forest Service Road 156 (Sarah's Creek Road).
The location provides exceptional access to outdoor recreation. The Chattooga Wild and Scenic River offers fishing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, and kayaking opportunities. Numerous hiking trails are nearby, including the National Recreational Bartram Trail, Chattooga River Trail, 3-Forks Trail, and Holcomb Creek Trail. The area features abundant waterfalls and scenic views. Rabun Bald, the second-highest peak in Georgia at 4,696 feet, is located to the northwest. The Warwoman Wildlife Management Area lies just miles to the west, and the Darnell Creek Horse Trail provides options for horseback riding and mountain biking.
