Winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. * WHERE...Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains. * WHEN...Until midnight MDT Thursday Night. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Falling and or blowing snow may significantly reduce visibility. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. Isolated power outages and or tree damage possible.

Higher elevations could gust up to 55 mph. * WHERE...Absaroka Mountains, Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains, and Yellowstone National Park. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially across Teton Pass and Togwotee Pass. Strong winds will cause limited visibility.
