* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations 1 to 2 feet above 4500 feet, with up to 3 to 4 feet at the highest peaks. Minor snowfall accumulations of 2 to 4 inches down to 4000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park above 4500 feet. * WHEN...From 5 PM Friday to 11 PM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute and weekend mountain travel. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels generally remain above pass levels through Friday afternoon, dropping to around 6000-7000 ft Friday night-Saturday, then lowering to around 4000-5000 ft late Saturday into Sunday. Heaviest snow rates and lowest snow levels will be Saturday afternoon through Sunday.

Mill Creek Resort is a privately-operated campground and resort situated on 12 wooded acres within Lassen National Forest, just 15-20 minutes from the southwest entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park. Located in the historic Mill Creek Lodge area dating to the 1930s, the resort serves as a convenient base for exploring Lassen and the surrounding wilderness areas. The campground offers both RV and tent camping options. The RV park accommodates small trailers and RVs up to 30 feet in length, with sites featuring 120v, 20amp, and 30amp electrical service. Tent camping sites are available in a separate, quieter area without generators. All campsites include picnic tables and fire rings. The resort provides modern amenities including flush toilets, coin-operated showers, potable water, and laundry facilities. An on-site camp store and seasonal restaurant are available for guests. Mill Creek Resort also offers cabin rentals, glamping tents, and serves as a venue for retreats and events. The property overlooks meadows with mountain views and provides access to hiking, fishing, and exploring the Mill Creek area and nearby Ishi Wilderness. The main camping season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with some facilities available outside the peak season.
