About
Battle Creek Campground is a developed campground in Lassen National Forest with 50 designated sites, located on Highway 36 approximately 2 miles west of Mineral, CA and 38 miles east of Red Bluff, CA. At 4,800 feet elevation, the campground offers a forested mountain setting with each site featuring a fire ring and picnic table. The campground is positioned as a gateway to Lassen Volcanic National Park, which offers diverse hiking trails and geothermal features. Amenities include vault toilets and potable drinking water from faucets. There are no RV hookups, showers, or dump station facilities. Maximum occupancy is 8 people and 2 vehicles per site. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Dogs are permitted but must remain leashed at all times. Fireworks are prohibited. Payment of $18 per night is required upon arrival and before each subsequent night.
Directions
From Red Bluff, travel east on Highway 36 for approximately 40 miles. The campground is located 2 miles west of Mineral, CA.
