About

Wolverine ATV Trailhead/Campground is a compact, primitive campground situated in a thin forest of pine and aspen trees along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway corridor in the Uinta Mountains. Located about 35 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, the campground primarily serves as a staging area for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts accessing the extensive Wolverine ATV trail system. The campground offers 6 standard nonelectric sites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. A vault toilet is available, but there is no potable water on-site. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility, so campers must haul out all trash. Sites accommodate up to 8 people and 2 vehicles, with reservations available through Recreation.gov or on a first-come, first-served basis. Beyond ATV riding, the area offers hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding opportunities. Stillwater Fork, accessible nearby, provides fly-fishing for cutthroat and brook trout. The timbered setting provides limited shade but delivers a genuine backcountry camping experience in one of Utah's most scenic mountain ranges.
