About

Unicorn Ridge Campground sits at 7,578 feet elevation along Forest Road 051 (Sheep Creek Road) in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This dispersed camping area offers 5 primitive sites, each with a picnic table, raised concrete fire pit, and standard campsite grill. A Forest Service vault toilet serves the campground, though no potable water is available. The campground is accessed by taking US-6 East toward Price and turning left onto Sheep Creek Road. It operates seasonally from approximately mid-May through October, depending on snow conditions and road maintenance. The area is not accessible during winter months. Camping fees are collected via self-service pay station: $10 per vehicle for 3 days, $20 for 7 days, or $60 for a season pass. Interagency "America the Beautiful" passes and Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest passes are honored. All sites are first-come, first-served with a 14-day stay limit.
