About
Dry Canyon Campground is a small, primitive tent-only campground managed by the Spanish Fork Ranger District in Diamond Fork Canyon. Situated at approximately 5,200 feet elevation, the campground provides a rustic camping experience about 15 miles from Spanish Fork, Utah. The site features vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings, though potable water is not available.
The campground is best known as the staging area for the Fifth Water Hot Springs trail, a popular hiking destination where natural hot springs emerge along a scenic creek. The Diamond Fork area offers additional recreation including river fishing, scenic viewing, and plant observation along the canyon.
Access to Dry Canyon Campground is seasonal, as Diamond Fork Road is gated during winter months due to snow. The parking area is small, so arriving early on busy weekends is recommended. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day stay limit.
