About
Strawberry Bay Long Term is a seasonal camping area within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest designed for extended stays at Strawberry Reservoir. All 45 campsites are located in Loop D and are standard nonelectric sites. The campground requires a minimum 30-day commitment, with maximum stays extending through the entire summer season. Senior Pass discounts do not apply to long-term sites.
The campground sits at 7,200 feet among rolling sagebrush-covered hills with sweeping views of Strawberry Reservoir. Small pine trees dot the landscape but provide minimal shade. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water from spigots, trash receptacles, and dump station access. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host.
Strawberry Reservoir offers excellent fishing for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and Kokanee salmon, plus boating, water skiing, and canoeing. The nearby Strawberry OHV Trail System provides 75 miles of trails for ATVs, hiking, and mountain biking. The Strawberry Visitor Center features interpretive displays, a working fish trap and egg collection station, and a nature trail.
