About

Sawmill Hollow Campground is a small, rustic campground nestled in Diamond Fork Canyon within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. With just 4 designated camping spots, this first-come, first-served site offers a quiet alternative to the busier campgrounds in the area. The campground provides basic amenities including a vault toilet and a dirt parking area that doubles as a trailhead. The site serves as the starting point for the Mapleton-Sawmill Hollow Trail #013, a multiuse trail popular with hikers and equestrians. Horse and pack animals are permitted, though users must clean up after animals and use weed-free hay. The nearby stream makes this location popular with anglers seeking a more secluded fishing experience. Campers should come prepared as no potable water is available on site. The campground accepts Interagency America the Beautiful passes and Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest day-use passes, which should be displayed while parked.
