About
Stateline Campground Long Term is located next to Stateline Reservoir on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains at an elevation of 9,200 feet, approximately 21 miles from Mountain View, Wyoming. This campground caters to extended stays with a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of the entire summer season. The facility features paved roads and parking spurs within the campground despite being accessed via a maintained dirt road. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits, set within a thin forest of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, and aspen that provides limited shade. Summer wildflowers and grasses dot the landscape, and wildlife including moose and deer frequent the area.
Stateline Reservoir offers excellent fishing opportunities for rainbow and cutthroat trout, along with canoeing, kayaking, and boating for small watercraft. The surrounding area features numerous trails for off-road vehicles, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The nearby China Meadows Trailhead provides direct access to the High Uintas Wilderness for backcountry exploration. A dump station is located across the road from the campground, and potable water is available at Stateline Dam. The campground is managed by Utah Recreation Company under special use permit from the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

From Mountain View, Wyoming, take Highway 410 south for 7 miles, then County Road 246 for 8.2 miles to Forest Road 072. Follow Forest Road 072 for 5.5 miles to the campground.
