This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.

Aquatic Invasive Species

This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.

About

Sevenmile Horse Camp is a primitive equestrian facility in Willamette National Forest designed specifically for horseback riders. Located at the Santiam Wagon Road trailhead, the campground features 3 sites with double horse corrals, fire rings, picnic tables, and space for two vehicles per site. Spring water is available for stock use, but no drinking water is provided for human consumption. The campground serves as a gateway to the historic Santiam Wagon Road trail system, offering approximately 7 miles of riding west to Mountain House and 14 miles east to Fish Lake Guard Station on Highway 126. The area provides excellent opportunities for multi-day horse camping trips through the Cascade Mountains. This is a first-come, first-served facility with vault toilets and garbage service. The campground operates seasonally from May through October. Campers should bring their own drinking water and be prepared for primitive conditions. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet within the developed recreation site.

Directions

From Sweet Home, Oregon proceed east on Highway 20 for 32 miles to Sevenmile Road (Forest Service Road 024). The horse camp is located approximately 1/4 mile down FS Road 024.
