About

Cherry Campground is a well-developed Forest Service campground located in a shaded forest of maple and cottonwood trees along Hobble Creek in Utah's Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. At 5,200 feet elevation and just six miles from Springville, it offers convenient access while maintaining a natural mountain setting. The campground features 14 standard single/double sites available first-come, first-served, plus four group tent-only sites that can be reserved through Recreation.gov. The campground provides paved roads and spurs, cement pads under picnic tables, fire pits with grills, and vault toilets. Recreational amenities include a horseshoe pit and volleyball court. Rainbow trout fishing on Hobble Creek is a popular activity, and several trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding are accessible from the campground, including Left Fork Days Canyon Trail and Kirkman Hollow Trail. Campers should be aware that no potable water is available on site, so you must bring your own water supply. The campground is in bear country, requiring proper food and trash storage. Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am, and gates close at 10pm. Horses and off-road vehicles are prohibited within the campground.

Directions

From I-15, take Springville exit 260. Continue east through the intersection of Main Street and Highway 400 South. At the four-way stop at the end of 400 South, turn right onto Canyon Road. Head east up Canyon Road for about 6 miles. After passing Hobble Creek Golf Course, the road will fork; stay to the right. Cherry Campground is approximately 1.3 miles from the fork, on the right side of Right Fork Hobble Road.
