About

Pine Valley North Wasatch Cache Group Campground is located along the beautiful Mirror Lake Scenic Byway in the Uinta Mountains of northeastern Utah. Situated at an elevation of 7,400 feet, the campground is nestled among dense stands of pines and aspens that provide excellent shade and stunning fall color displays. The Lower Provo River flows nearby, offering quality trout fishing opportunities. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding mountains, with numerous hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails crisscrossing the area, including the North Fork and Shingle Creek Trails. Off-road vehicle trails are accessible in the vicinity for motorized recreation. The Mirror Lake Scenic Byway parallels the Lower Provo River through this portion of the Uinta Mountains, providing access to numerous high alpine lakes and streams, countless trails, breathtaking scenic viewpoints, and various other campgrounds. Several trails along the byway provide access to the High Uintas Wilderness.

Directions

From Salt Lake City, take I-80 east for approximately 30 miles to Exit 146 for Highway 40. Continue south on Highway 40 for approximately 13 miles and turn left onto UT Highway 32. Stay on UT-32 for 16 miles through Francis to Kamas. Turn right onto Highway 150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway) in Kamas and continue 10 miles to the campground.
