About

Pine Valley Group Campground is situated along the scenic Highway 150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway) in the Uinta Mountains of northeastern Utah, at an elevation of 7,400 feet. The campground features three spacious group sites designed for gatherings of 60 to 140 people, each equipped with multiple picnic and serving tables, grills, campfire circles, and large paved parking areas. The sites are nestled among dense stands of pines and aspens, providing ample shade during summer and spectacular fall color in September and early October. The Lower Provo River flows nearby, offering excellent trout fishing opportunities. Numerous trails in the area provide access to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, including the North Fork and Shingle Creek Trails. The campground serves as a gateway to exploring Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, which leads to high alpine lakes, streams, and multiple access points to the High Uintas Wilderness. The campground is operated seasonally by a concessionaire and requires advance reservations with a minimum 2-night stay on weekends and 3-night minimum on holiday weekends. Vault toilets and trash collection are provided, but campers must bring their own water as potable water is not available on-site. ATVs are prohibited in the campground.
