About
McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park's cabin area provides a unique camping experience near one of California's most impressive waterfalls. The 24 seasonal tent cabins are nestled in the Rim Campground area, offering one- and two-room configurations with propane heat and single beds with foam mats. While the cabins lack electricity and running water, guests have access to nearby restrooms with flush toilets and showers. Each cabin includes an outdoor fire pit and picnic table, with space to set up a tent alongside. The on-site Burney Falls General Store, operated by McArthur Burney Hospitality, LLC, provides essentials including firewood. Guests should bring their own bedding, lanterns, and drinking water for inside the cabin. The park is located northeast of Redding, six miles north of Highway 299 on Highway 89 near Burney. The cabins put you within easy access to the falls, hiking trails, and Lake Britton for fishing and swimming. Two ADA accessible cabins (#59 and #62) are available with similar amenities.
Directions
