About

Honn Campground is a small, primitive campground nestled along a stream in the Lassen National Forest, approximately 20 miles north of Lassen Volcanic National Park. The 6 shaded sites provide a peaceful setting with fire pits and BBQ grills at each site. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. Amenities are basic: vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own drinking water. There are no hookups, dump stations, or showers. The 14-day stay limit applies. The location provides excellent access to outdoor recreation. Thousand Lakes Wilderness lies just a few miles to the northeast, offering numerous hiking trails, lakes, and wildlife viewing opportunities. The stream running through the campground is known for trophy trout fishing. The campground accommodates tents and small RVs up to 20 feet, though the tight turnaround makes trailers challenging to maneuver.
