About
Deep Creek Campground was a developed campground located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest in Shasta County, California, near Shasta Lake. The facility has been permanently closed by the U.S. Forest Service and is no longer available for public use. The access road has sustained storm damage, making the campground inaccessible by vehicle, and the Forest Service has posted warnings advising visitors not to attempt to pass. The site previously offered basic camping amenities but no longer provides any facilities, water, or restrooms. The area remains closed indefinitely with no plans for reopening.
Directions
