About

Lost Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground in the southeast corner of Crater Lake National Park, accessible via a three-mile drive on Pinnacles Road off East Rim Drive. The campground sits at 6,000 feet elevation and features 16 tent-only sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. No advance reservations are accepted. This is a primitive facility with no potable water, requiring campers to bring all water needed for their stay. Portable toilets are provided seasonally. Each site includes a bear-resistant food locker, and all food, garbage, and scented items must be stored in these lockers or in vehicles when not in use. The campground typically fills by mid-afternoon during the operating season. RVs, buses, trailers, and any vehicles with self-contained toilet facilities are strictly prohibited. Wood campfires are not allowed, but gas stoves and self-contained charcoal grills are permitted. Generators are also prohibited. Sites cost $5 per night (50% discount for Senior and Access Pass holders) with payment by exact cash or check only. Maximum occupancy is 8 people and 2 vehicles per site, with a limit of 14 consecutive days and 30 total days per calendar year in the park.
