Collier Memorial State Park

Open

Open for the 2026 season. B-loop (30 sites) is closed for maintenance through at least July 2026; A-loop and horse camp remain operational. Potable water at the fill station is currently shut off due to county water restrictions.

About

Collier Memorial State Park occupies a scenic stretch of the Williamson River near Chiloquin, known for its excellent fly fishing and cold, clear spring-fed waters. The campground offers two main loops: A-loop with 16 full-hookup sites and 18 tent sites with nearby water access, and B-loop with 30 full-hookup sites including 9 pull-throughs. A primitive horse camp with two sites and four corrals serves equestrian visitors. The park doubles as an outdoor museum showcasing Oregon's logging heritage, with historic equipment, a relocated pioneer village, and interpretive displays spread across the grounds. The surrounding Fremont-Winema National Forest provides additional recreation opportunities, and the park makes a convenient base for exploring Crater Lake National Park, located about 30 miles to the west.
