About
Scott Creek Campground offers a quiet, off-the-beaten-path camping experience in Oregon's Fremont-Winema National Forest. Located approximately 50 minutes southwest of Chemult, this small primitive campground features six campsites shaded by a mix of lodgepole pines, ponderosa pines, and white firs. Scott Creek flows peacefully along the north edge of the campground, where you may spot small trout in the water. Each campsite comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The campground has one vault toilet and an information board. There is no potable water, so campers must bring an adequate supply. There are no fees to camp here. The campground sees light use and is especially popular with hunters during fall. This is an ideal destination for those seeking solitude in a serene, remote forest setting away from crowds.
