About
Set back from the shores of Diamond Lake in Umpqua National Forest, Broken Arrow Campground is nestled in lodgepole pine forest at an elevation that provides cool summer camping. The 121 campsites include standard single and double sites plus 3 group sites that can accommodate larger parties. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring, with flush toilets and potable water available throughout the campground. The campground offers easy access to Diamond Lake's recreational opportunities. Anglers can fish for rainbow trout from shore or boat, while the 11-mile paved trail circling the lake attracts cyclists. Hikers have multiple trail options departing from the area, and the Pacific Crest Trail is accessible nearby. A resort near the campground offers boat, bicycle, and horse rentals, along with a restaurant, grocery store, and fuel. Broken Arrow sees lighter use than other Diamond Lake campgrounds during summer months despite its amenities. Interpretive programs are offered Saturday evenings at nearby Diamond Lake Campground. Crater Lake National Park is a short drive away for day trips.
