About

Laurel Hill State Park sits at over 2,500 feet elevation in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania, offering 262 campsites spread across multiple loops within a 4,062-acre forested setting. The campground includes 155 modern electric sites with 30-amp and 50-amp service, 12 full-hookup sites with water and sewer, 94 non-electric sites, and 8 camping cottages sleeping five people each. A 63-acre lake provides swimming, fishing, and non-motorized boating opportunities adjacent to the camping area. The campground features modern amenities including flush restrooms, warm showers, drinking water, a sanitary dump station, and a laundromat. An amphitheater hosts ranger programs during peak season, while playgrounds and a volleyball court provide recreation. Six ADA-accessible campsites are available. Pets are permitted on designated sites only. The park maintains an extensive trail system for hiking and mountain biking, with connections to the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail. New for 2026, the park is adding six glamping sites in partnership with Timberline Glamping, accommodating 4-6 guests each. Two historic lodges, Hufman Lodge and Copper Kettle Lodge, offer group accommodations year-round.
