About

Corral Springs Campground is a quiet, free primitive campground located 15 minutes northwest of Chemult, Oregon in the Fremont-Winema National Forest. The five campsites are spread among lodgepole pines, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Two vault toilets and an information board serve the campground. A narrow creek meanders through the middle of the campground, fed by a spring that gurgles out of a knoll. This campground sees light usage, making it ideal for those seeking solitude. In the fall, hunters favor the area, while summertime visitors enjoy the relaxed, primitive setting. No potable water is available, so visitors must bring their own supply. June and July see heavy mosquito activity, so bring repellent. The campground accommodates vehicles up to 50 feet in length. A 14-day stay limit applies. Access is via Forest Service Road 9774 and FS Road 9774190 from Highway 97 north of Chemult.
