About

Spring Campground occupies a prime position on Crescent Lake, a naturally glaciated basin in Oregon's Cascade Range known for its exceptional blue-green water and sandy beaches. The 57 sites are scattered through a mixed conifer forest with wide spacing that creates an open, sunny atmosphere. Sites are flat and generously sized, with four tent-only lakefront sites (069-073) offering direct water access. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. The campground features a boat launch for direct lake access, making it popular for waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, and fishing. Crescent Lake supports diverse cold-water species including kokanee salmon, mackinaw, rainbow trout, brown trout, and mountain whitefish, with summer months offering the best fishing. Hiking and mountain biking trails are accessible from the area, including the 9-mile Summit Lake Trail with views of Diamond Peak. Potable water is available from faucets when the system is operational (typically May through September). Vault toilets are provided throughout. The campground accommodates RVs up to 40 feet but has no hookups. One vehicle is permitted per single site; additional vehicles cost $10. Generator use is prohibited between 10 PM and 7 AM.
