Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.
Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products
This Order prohibits unloading, storing, or using any straw, hay, grain, seed, or other forage or mulch products that are not state-certified weed free on the National Forest System lands, roads or trails in any Closure Area as specific in the Order.

About
Contorta Flat Campground is an isolated, quiet retreat located on the south shore of Crescent Lake at the top of Willamette Pass in the Deschutes National Forest. Accessed by a gravel forest road for the last few miles, this campground rewards visitors with excellent lakeside tent sites and large spaces suitable for RVs up to 40 feet. The sites are spacious and close to the lake, though not heavily separated from one another. Crescent Lake is nestled in a glacier basin east of the Cascade Mountain Range, featuring brilliant blue-green water and sandy beaches. The area is surrounded by lodgepole pine forest with mountain hemlock, fir, and spruce. The lake is a prime location for motorized and non-motorized boating, fishing, and swimming. The Summit Lake Trail is popular among hikers and mountain bikers, offering excellent views of Diamond Peak across the lake. In winter months, the area transforms into a snowmobiling, skiing, and snowshoeing destination with access to Crescent Lake Snowpark. Wildlife in the area includes deer, native fish, and migratory birds. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the Deschutes National Forest's extensive trail system and nearby attractions including Newberry National Volcanic Monument and the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway.

From Crescent, OR: Travel 12.2 miles west on County Road 61/Crescent Cut-off Road, then 3.5 miles north on Highway 58, then 9.9 miles southwest on Forest Road 60. Note: The last few miles are on gravel road.
