About
Cobblerest Campground is a forested retreat at 8,500 feet elevation on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (State Route 150) in northeastern Utah's Uinta Mountains. The campground offers 18 single sites shaded by pine, fir, and aspen trees, with willow thickets lining the adjacent Lower Provo River. Each paved site includes a picnic table and fire ring, with vault toilet facilities throughout the campground. The Lower Provo River provides good trout fishing within walking distance. Numerous hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails radiate from the area, including North Fork and Shingle Creek Trails. Off-road vehicle trails exist nearby, though ATVs are prohibited within the campground itself. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out facility with no potable water available. Campers must arrive with full water tanks. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 7-day stay limit. Bear-country regulations apply with strict food storage requirements.

From Kamas, UT, at the intersection of State Route 32 (Main Street) and State Route 150 (Center Street), take Route 150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway) east 19.3 miles to the campground sign. Turn right into the campground.
