SAFETY ALERT - South Antelope Bridge out, Do Not Cross
Damage to the underside of South Antelope Bridge on Ponderosa Way was discovered by Forest Service Road Crews. Engineering staff are currently assessing the damage.
Lassen National Forest Camping Restrictions

About
Black Rock Campground is a primitive dispersed campground located along Mill Creek at 2,100 feet elevation in the oak woodlands bordering the northeast corner of the Ishi Wilderness. The campground offers 6 dispersed campsites, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table, plus vault toilets. No potable water or trash service is provided, and campers must pack out all trash. The area provides excellent access for hiking into the Ishi Wilderness and along Mill Creek, with rewarding fishing opportunities in both Mill and Deer Creeks. Access to Black Rock Campground is via Highway 36 east from Red Bluff to Ponderosa Way, a dirt road requiring high-clearance vehicles. RVs and trailers are not recommended due to road conditions. The campground operates first-come, first-served with no fees or reservations. Each site accommodates up to 1 vehicle and 8 people. Campfires are allowed only in provided fire rings, quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM, and pets must remain leashed at all times.
Directions
From Red Bluff, take Highway 36 east to Ponderosa Way. Turn onto Ponderosa Way (dirt road). High-clearance vehicles recommended; not suitable for RVs or trailers.
