About

Cherry Hill Campground is a developed Forest Service campground situated along Butte Creek near the historic community of Jonesville in Lassen National Forest. The campground features 26 designated sites spread across a main drive-in area and walk-in sites accessible across the creek. Each site includes a picnic table, metal fire ring, and parking for at least one vehicle, with some sites accommodating two vehicles. The campground operates seasonally, generally from mid-May through September, though dates may shift based on weather conditions. At 4,700 feet elevation, Cherry Hill offers a forested retreat from Central Valley summer heat. Campers can enjoy fishing and relaxing along Butte Creek, exploring local forest roads and trails, hunting in season, and scenic viewing.
