Cherry Hill Campground is a developed Forest Service campground offering 26 designated sites along Butte Creek in Lassen National Forest, near the historic community of Jonesville. Located at 4,700 feet elevation among the pines, the campground provides a popular escape from valley heat with both a main drive-in area and walk-in sites accessed by crossing the creek. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, metal fire ring, and parking space for at least one vehicle, with some sites accommodating two vehicles. The campground provides vault toilets and potable water via a hand pump. Campers can enjoy fishing and relaxing along Butte Creek, exploring local forest roads and trails, and various other outdoor activities. The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through September, weather permitting. Fees are $14 per night and must be paid upon arrival. Sites accommodate up to 2 vehicles and 8 persons. Quiet hours are enforced from 10pm to 6am, pets must be leashed, and campfires are allowed only in provided fire rings.
