Big Pool Group Campground is a small, shady group campground nestled between Forest Service Road 18 and Fall Creek in Oregon's Willamette National Forest. The site accommodates groups of up to 30 people and provides a streamside setting with access to Fall Creek for water activities and fishing. The campground operates seasonally from May through September and features vault toilets but no potable water, so campers must bring their own water supply. Dogs are permitted on leashes no longer than 6 feet. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and chainsaw use is prohibited. Maximum stay is 14 days within a 60-day period. Due to its proximity to Fall Creek and shaded setting, the campground sees heavy use during summer weekends. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov. The maximum trailer length is 14 feet, making this site best suited for tent camping and smaller vehicles.

Directions

From Lowell, Oregon: Head north on South Pioneer Street for 0.1 mile. Turn left onto North Shore Drive, drive 0.1 mile, then turn right onto South Moss Street. Continue 0.8 miles as it becomes Jasper-Lowell Road for another 1.0 mile to the four-way stop. Turn right onto Big Fall Creek Road. At Fall Creek Lake Dam, bear left past Winberry Creek Road. Big Fall Creek Road becomes Forest Road 18 at the National Forest boundary. Travel 11.5 miles from the four-way stop; the campground is on your right.
