About

Beaver View Campground occupies a scenic riverside setting at 8,960 feet elevation in the Uinta Mountains, approximately 34 miles south of Evanston, Wyoming along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (State Route 150). The campground sits alongside the Hayden Fork River with numerous small beaver ponds scattered throughout the area. A thin forest of pine and aspen provides limited shade, while summer wildflowers and grasses dot the landscape. The campground offers 17 single campsites and one group day-use picnic area. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water on site, so campers must bring all water needed. Trash service is pack-it-in/pack-it-out. Dogs are allowed with a maximum of two per site, kept on a leash not exceeding six feet. Recreation opportunities abound with nearby fishing in the river and alpine lakes, hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking. Access to High Uintas Wilderness trails is available from several points along the byway. The campground has a 14-day stay limit and enforces quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.
