Tillicum Beach Campground is one of the Oregon coast's most sought-after camping destinations, perched directly on the sandy shoreline of the Pacific Ocean. The campground offers 61 sites spread across three loops, with most sites providing unobstructed ocean views and direct beach access. Sunsets here are spectacular, and the sound of crashing waves provides a natural soundtrack for camping. Facilities include flush toilets and potable water throughout the campground. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. A handful of sites away from the waterfront offer electric (30 amp) and water hookups for those needing shore power. There are no showers on-site. Due to the campground's popularity, reservations are strongly recommended, though some first-come-first-served sites are available. Cape Perpetua Scenic Area lies 6 miles south, offering old-growth Sitka spruce forests, dramatic tide pools, and guided interpretive hikes. Waldport, 4 miles north, provides access to fishing, crabbing, and clamming in Alsea Bay.

Directions

From Waldport, drive 4 miles south on Highway 101. From Yachats, drive 3 miles north on Highway 101. The campground entrance is on the west side of the highway.
