About

Beachside State Recreation Site sits directly alongside miles of broad, sandy beach on Oregon's scenic central coast. The campground provides excellent opportunities for whale watching, kite flying, and enjoying the dramatic Pacific coastline. With 32 electrical sites featuring water hookups and 42 tent sites with nearby water access, the park accommodates both RV and tent campers comfortably. The campground offers two yurts, including one pet-friendly option, both of which are accessible to visitors with disabilities. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, and firewood available for purchase at the woodshed or from park hosts. Two ADA-accessible campsites serve visitors with mobility needs. A hiker/biker camp provides budget-friendly options for travelers on foot or bicycle. Note that there is no dump station on-site; the nearest RV dump facilities are at South Beach State Park or Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park, each approximately 17 miles away.
