Then 4 miles northwest of Winfield, Cowley County Road 18 floods over a section just west of 71st Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 24.3 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Widespread flooding of the park just upstream of the gage site is anticipated. East Chestnut Avenue east of By-pass is closed due to water over roadway. Greens Farm Road floods between Highway 166 north to Dunbar Hill. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.0 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
