Osage Cove

About

Osage Cove is a large Army Corps of Engineers campground situated along the eastern shore of Kaw Lake, approximately 9 miles east of Ponca City, Oklahoma. The 17,000-acre lake and its 168 miles of shoreline create an excellent destination for fishing, boating, and wildlife observation. Most of the 97 campsites are well-shaded and equipped with 30-amp electric service; 24 sites include individual water hookups while the remaining sites share communal water access. The campground features modern amenities including flush restrooms with hot showers and a dump station for RV waste disposal. A boat ramp provides convenient lake access for anglers pursuing catfish, crappie, white bass, and walleye. Three group sites can accommodate up to 50 guests each, making this a good choice for family reunions or organized outings. Hikers and equestrians will appreciate the nearby Eagle View Trail, a 12-mile path connecting Osage Cove to Burbank Landing along the lake's scenic eastern shore. During winter months, Kaw Lake hosts one of Oklahoma's largest populations of migrating bald eagles. Hunters find excellent populations of whitetail deer, turkey, and waterfowl during appropriate seasons.

From Ponca City, Oklahoma, travel 9 miles east on Lake Road across Kaw Dam. Turn east on County Road and travel 2 miles to the park.
