About

Located on beautiful Skiatook Lake in northeast Oklahoma, Twin Points is the most recently constructed campground of its size in the region. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the campground sits along the forested lakeshore and features 49 modern campsites with 50-amp electric and water hookups. The facility includes paved roads, accessible comfort stations with hot showers and flush toilets, and a nearby swimming beach and boat ramp. The Twin Points area is characterized by large expanses of tallgrass prairie and rolling hills of oak and hickory trees. The shoreline is accentuated by steep picturesque bluffs offering views of the water. Visitors can enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, and picnicking. Sport fishing for largemouth bass, black and white crappie, channel catfish, and several species of sunfish provides hours of enjoyment. About 6,000 acres of public land in the lake area are open to hunters pursuing whitetail deer, quail, rabbit, and squirrel. Additional amenities include a group picnic shelter, disc golf course, horseshoe pits, and basketball and volleyball courts.
