About

Yuba State Park encompasses Yuba Reservoir approximately 110 miles south of Salt Lake City in Juab County. The park offers diverse camping options from full-hookup sites at Oasis and Painted Rocks campgrounds to primitive beach camping at Eagle View and North Beach. Oasis serves as the main developed area with flush toilets, showers, a fish cleaning station, and The Yuba Store for supplies and paddle board rentals. Two recently renovated cabins with heating/AC, queen bunks, and kitchenettes operate year-round. The reservoir draws boaters, anglers, and water sports enthusiasts with its warm waters and sandy beaches. Fishing is popular year-round for walleye, wipers, northern pike, tiger muskie, perch, catfish, and carp. OHV and hiking trails connect directly to campsites for easy exploration. Water levels fluctuate significantly; the Painted Rocks boat ramp may close during low water periods while the Oasis ramp typically remains operational. Quiet hours run 10 PM to 7 AM. Each campsite is limited to one vehicle and eight people; additional vehicles require a separate pass. Reservations can be made 48 hours in advance through ReserveAmerica or by calling 1-800-322-3770.
