About

Yuba Lake State Park sits along the shores of Yuba Reservoir in central Utah, offering diverse camping and recreation opportunities throughout the year. The park features several distinct camping areas: Oasis Campground with developed sites including electric and water hookups, Painted Rocks Campground with primitive sites requiring four-wheel drive access, and North Beaches for dispersed beach camping where campers select their own spot on the sand. The reservoir attracts anglers year-round seeking northern pike, tiger muskie, walleye, yellow perch, wiper, trout, and catfish. Warm water temperatures make Yuba popular for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, waterskiing, and boating. Multiple boat ramps provide access for all types of watercraft. The surrounding area offers additional activities including hiking, rock hounding, mountain biking, and OHV trails. Campground amenities vary by location. Oasis Campground provides modern restrooms, hot showers, drinking water, and a sewage disposal station, with some sites offering electric and water hookups. The park includes a camp store selling firewood, ice, camping supplies, fishing tackle, and basic provisions, plus paddleboard rentals. Reservations are available through Reserve America 48 hours in advance, though some areas operate first-come, first-served. Self-pay systems and QR codes are available when entrance stations are unmanned.
