Twin Lake Campground
Open for the 2026 season. Sites 11, 13, and Group A are reservable via Recreation.gov; remaining sites are first-come, first-served. Season runs through September 30.
About
Twin Lake Campground rests in a juniper tree belt in Twelve Mile Canyon, nestled among Flagstaff Limestone bluffs at 8,100 feet elevation. The campground offers 22 sites: 21 single-family sites at $10/night and one group site accommodating up to 40 people at $30/night. Two vault toilets are regularly maintained. Each site has a fire ring, but there is no potable water or trash collection. The campground is a premier staging area for off-highway vehicle recreation. An on-site OHV learner loop makes it ideal for beginners, while experienced riders can connect to the extensive Arapeen OHV Trail System or venture up to Skyline Drive for panoramic alpine scenery. The 7,000-8,100 foot elevation allows earlier spring access and warmer fall temperatures compared to higher Sanpete County campgrounds. Sites 11, 13, and Group A are reservable through Recreation.gov; all other sites are first-come, first-served. The campground operates seasonally from May through September 30.
