About
Maple Grove Campground occupies a scenic setting beneath towering red cliffs in the Pahvant Range of Fishlake National Forest. Thick stands of maple, cottonwood, box elder, oak, and pine provide generous shade throughout the 22-site campground, while gentle Ivie Creek winds through the property. The campground sits at approximately 6,800 feet elevation in central Utah's high desert. The campground offers 19 individual nonelectric sites available first-come, first-served, plus three reservable accessible group sites (A, B, and C) that can accommodate larger parties. All sites include picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Facilities include vault toilets and drinking water from a hand pump. Roads and parking spurs are paved. There are no hookups, showers, or dump station. Recreation centers on the 3.2-mile Rock Canyon Trail, which begins in the campground and ascends to the top of the Pahvant Range with panoramic views. Ivie Creek provides fishing opportunities for rainbow trout. Campers must pack out all trash as there is no garbage service. ATVs and off-road vehicles are prohibited within the campground.
