Palisade State Park, located just outside Sterling in central Utah, is a full-service recreation area built around the scenic Palisade Reservoir. The park offers 70 campsites accommodating both tents and RVs, with options for sites with full hookups and without hookups. Pull-through and back-in sites can accommodate RVs up to 75 feet. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and grill, with firewood available for purchase. For those preferring more comfort, the park offers 10 camping cabins: 3 with full amenities including restrooms and showers, and 7 with basic amenities. The park's centerpiece is Palisade Reservoir, which offers fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating, with electric motors permitted. The park also features an 18-hole desert canyon golf course. Nearby Six-Mile Canyon provides access for off-highway vehicle riding. Winter activities include ice fishing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, and off-season golf tournaments. The park operates year-round with restroom facilities, and pets are welcome with proper supervision and cleanup. Reservations can be made 2 days to 4 months in advance for individual sites through Utah State Parks' reservation system at (800) 322-3770 or online. The park is located approximately 133 miles south of Salt Lake City, accessible by traveling east from Nephi on SR 132, south on US 89 to Sterling, then two miles east on Palisade Road.

From Salt Lake City, travel approximately 133 miles south. From Nephi, go east on SR 132, then south on US 89 to Sterling. Turn east on Palisade Road and continue 2 miles to the park entrance.
