About

Manti Community Campground is located just seven miles east of Manti, Utah, next to scenic Yearns Reservoir at an elevation of 7,400 feet in the Manti-La Sal National Forest. A mixed forest of spruce, pinyon, juniper, fir, and aspen covers the area, offering partial shade and abundant summer wildflowers. The small man-made reservoir is popular for canoeing and fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout, with a short, easy trail traversing around the lake that includes a wooden bridge, stream crossings, stairs, and multiple fishing access points. The campground features single-family sites with picnic tables and fire rings, as well as one group site that accommodates up to 30 people and six vehicles with large picnic tables, a utility table, and a fire ring with benches. Vault toilets are provided, though no potable water is available on-site. Roads and parking spurs are gravel, accessible by dirt road without requiring high clearance. The surrounding area is a haven for OHV enthusiasts, with several trails making up part of the 350+ mile Arapeen OHV Trail System. The Burnt Hill Trail connects with the Patton Trail nearby, and Milky Falls can be found in the area. Hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding are also popular activities, with wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the season.

From Manti, head east on 500 South, which turns into Forest Road 045, for approximately 7 miles to reach the campground.
