About

Oak Creek Campground occupies a scenic stretch of Oak Creek Canyon in the Fishlake National Forest, roughly 4 miles east of Oak City, Utah. The campground is shaded by a dense canopy of oak, maple, and cottonwood trees lining the banks of Oak Creek, creating a cool retreat during hot summer days. The campground features 17 individual campsites split between an upper and lower loop, plus 4 reservable group sites. Amenities include vault toilets, potable drinking water from a hand pump (seasonal), picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills at each site. An amphitheater, volleyball court, and play field are also on-site. There are no hookups, and it is a pack-in/pack-out facility with no garbage service. Rainbow trout fishing in Oak Creek is the primary attraction. OHV trails are accessible nearby, though ATVs within the campground are restricted to ingress and egress only. The upper loop has narrow roads, so smaller trailers are recommended.
