Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area Group Campground sits within a 324-acre oak woodland park along the Sacramento River in Tehama County, approximately 6 miles east of Corning. The park features one group campsite that can accommodate up to 40 people, making it suitable for family reunions, scout troops, or other large gatherings. The group site is equipped with modern amenities including flush toilets, hot coin-operated showers, and potable drinking water. Picnic tables and fire pits are available. The surrounding park offers over a mile of hiking trails through oak woodlands, fishing access on the Sacramento River, and excellent bird-watching opportunities. Reservations are made through ReserveCalifornia. The park operates seasonally from April 1 through September 30 and is closed during winter months. Maximum trailer and motorhome length is 31 feet.

Directions

From Interstate 5, take the South Avenue exit in Corning and head east approximately 6 miles. The park is located at 25430 South Ave., about 3 miles west of Highway 99 at Vina, between Chico and Red Bluff.
