Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area occupies 324 acres of shaded oak woodland along the Sacramento River in Tehama County. The park sits 6 miles east of Corning and 3 miles west of Highway 99 at Vina, making it accessible from both Chico and Red Bluff. The campground offers a peaceful retreat beneath mature oak canopy with direct access to the Sacramento River. The campground provides approximately 45 sites including standard tent and RV sites plus a group camping area. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring. Facilities include flush restrooms, coin-operated hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. RVs up to 31 feet can be accommodated. Adjacent to the park is the Tehama County River Park with day-use facilities and boat launch. The 1,100-acre Rio Vista Unit of the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge lies immediately south, offering hunting, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing opportunities.
