About

Willow Creek Campground offers a quiet, secluded camping experience in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, approximately one hour southeast of Lakeview, Oregon. The campground features tent and trailer sites situated in a large ponderosa pine and aspen stand along the banks of Willow Creek. This rustic campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation system and no fees required. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring. The campground provides two vault toilets but no potable water, so visitors must pack in adequate drinking water for their stay. The setting along Willow Creek provides opportunities for fishing, wildlife viewing, and day hiking. The campground experiences light usage, making it an ideal destination for those seeking solitude in a forest setting. Access requires navigating a series of forest roads from Highway 140, and the remote location means campers should come prepared with all necessary supplies. The campground can accommodate trailers, though the remote access roads and rustic nature make it best suited for smaller rigs.
