About

Willow Creek Campground offers a quiet, primitive camping experience in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, about an hour southeast of Lakeview, Oregon. The campground sits among large ponderosa pines and aspens along the banks of Willow Creek, providing a serene setting for those seeking solitude away from developed recreation areas. The campground features tent and small trailer sites with basic amenities including picnic tables, fire rings, and two vault toilets. There is no potable water available, so campers must bring an adequate supply. The area sees light use, making it ideal for visitors who prefer uncrowded conditions. Popular activities at Willow Creek include stream fishing in the creek, day hiking through the surrounding forest, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. The remote location and light usage make this an excellent spot for experiencing the high desert forests of southeastern Oregon.
