About

Deep Creek Campground is located in the South Warner Mountains, one hour and 25 minutes southeast of Lakeview, Oregon, within the Fremont-Winema National Forest. This rustic campground offers a peaceful setting surrounded by ponderosa pine, cottonwood, and aspen trees, with four campsites positioned along Deep Creek. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire grate. One vault toilet serves the campground, but no potable water is available on-site, so visitors must pack in their own water supply. The area features abundant colorful wildflowers in spring and early summer, and opportunities for fishing, wildlife viewing, and hiking. The campground is particularly popular with hunters during fall season. The campground is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Access requires traveling on Forest Service roads, with the campground located off FS Road 4015. The site experiences light usage and offers a quiet, remote camping experience in the Warner Mountains.

Directions
