About

Willow Creek Campground offers a quiet, no-fee camping experience in the heart of Boise National Forest along the Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway. The campground features four campsites, each accommodating up to six people, nestled in a partially shaded area near the confluence of the Crooked River and Willow Creek. Every site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, and vault toilets are available on-site. The campground is a favorite among anglers seeking rainbow trout in the Crooked River and Willow Creek. Beyond fishing, visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, OHV/ATV riding, and wildlife viewing. The scenic byway provides excellent opportunities for leisurely drives through the ponderosa pine forest. During winter months, the area becomes inaccessible by vehicle but attracts backcountry skiers and snowmobilers. Campers should bring their own drinking water as no potable water is available. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations required.
