About
White Pass Lake Campground, also known as Leech Lake Campground, is located on the northeastern shores of Leech Lake in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest at 4,400 feet elevation. This 10-site campground offers a peaceful setting with direct trailhead access to the Pacific Crest Trail, making it popular with both PCT hikers and anglers. The campground is operated by White Pass Company under a special use permit from the Forest Service. Facilities include vault toilets, a dumpster for trash disposal, and a boat launch for non-motorized watercraft. Leech Lake is designated as fly fishing only, with no motors allowed on the water. Campers should bring their own drinking water as potable water is not available on-site. The campground operates first-come, first-served with no advance reservations. Trailers are limited to 20 feet maximum. Sites are moderately used during the summer season and offer a more secluded experience compared to larger developed campgrounds in the area.
