Clear Lake North Group Campground is a secluded reservation-only group site perched on a rocky bluff along the North Fork of the Tieton River in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Located between popular Rimrock Lake and the quieter Clear Lake at 2,930 feet elevation, the campground sits beneath a canopy of towering pine and fir trees, offering a scenic and private setting for large family reunions and group outings. The group site accommodates a maximum of 40 people and 10 vehicles. The campground features vault toilets and picnic tables, with drinking water available via a hand pump. Each campsite includes a firepit and picnic table for group use. While the site itself has no potable water listed on some sources, other documentation indicates hand pump water availability. The location provides excellent access to various recreational activities. The North Fork of the Tieton River offers stream fishing opportunities, while nearby Clear Lake and Rimrock Lake provide additional fishing and non-motorized boating. Mountain biking and day hiking trails are accessible from the campground. The area experiences warm, sunny summers and snowy winters with clear skies, making it a popular destination during the operating season.

Directions

From Naches, follow Highway 12 west for approximately 34 miles to County Road 1200/Tieton Reservoir Road at the west end of Rimrock Lake. Turn south/left on County Road 1200 and follow for about 0.3 miles to Road 740. Continue for a half mile; the reservation site is the second campsite on the left along the North Fork Tieton River.
