About

South Fork Bay Campground is a dispersed camping area situated on the south shore of Rimrock Lake within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. At 3,000 feet elevation, the campground accommodates both RV and tent camping in a primitive setting surrounded by conifer forests and rugged mountain terrain. The area provides access to Rimrock Lake for fishing and boating, with the reservoir supporting kokanee salmon and other species. Day hiking opportunities are available in the surrounding forest. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with basic amenities including vault toilets. Campers should bring their own water as no potable water is available on-site. The location offers a quiet alternative to developed campgrounds while still providing lake access and mountain recreation.

Directions

From Highway 12, turn onto Tieton Road 1200 at the west end of Rimrock Lake. Drive to Forest Road 1203 and travel south. The campground is within the first quarter mile on the right.
