Currently closed for the season. Campgrounds in the Naches Ranger District typically open around Memorial Day weekend, weather and conditions permitting.

About

South Fork Bay Campground offers dispersed camping along the scenic shores of Rimrock Lake in Washington's Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Located at 3,000 feet elevation on the lake's south side, this campground provides a more primitive camping experience for visitors seeking solitude near the water. The area offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and hiking. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. Campers must arrive in person to claim and pay for a site. QR code payment via the Recreation.gov app is available on-site where cell service exists. Vault toilets are provided, but there is no potable water available, so campers should bring an adequate supply of drinking water. To reach the campground from Highway 12, take Tieton Road 1200 at the west entrance, then turn onto Forest Road 1203 and travel south. The campground entrance is within the first quarter mile on the right side of the road.

Directions

From Highway 12, take Tieton Road 1200 (west entrance) to Forest Road 1203, travel south. The campground is within the first quarter mile on the right.
